This increase comes as Major League Baseball's 30 teams collectively secured 325 new sponsorship deals across 30 diverse categories, underscoring the league’s growing commercial appeal.
Among the standout categories, the Construction & Industrial sector experienced the highest year-over-year growth, up 45% to $76 million. Additionally, Automotive and Insurance sectors also contributed significantly to this upward trend, showcasing the wide appeal of MLB sponsorship opportunities across industries.
Bob Lynch, Founder and CEO of SponsorUnited, was also mentioned in the article. Lynch shared additional insights, noting that while the Dodgers rank 25th out of 30 MLB teams in terms of the total number of sponsorship deals, they contribute a substantial share of overall revenue.
