September’s Hottest Brands Have Arrived!
With fall in full swing and the holidays on the horizon, here’s the list of the brands most searched by sponsorship executives on our platform in September.
Kellanova (formerly known as the Kellogg Company) takes the top spot following the September 26 announcement that Kellogg’s has partnered with Paris Basketball to promote social inclusion and combat food insecurity. The brand will support various programs aimed at young people, families, and fans of the club, providing nutritious breakfasts and supporting young people in the club’s sports inclusion program and basketball camps. The brand will also promote educational workshops that encourage healthy eating habits—connecting basketball with balanced nutrition—and invite children from disadvantaged backgrounds to attend Paris Basketball games and take a behind-the-scenes tour of the arena.
Tim Hortons lands at #5 after becoming the official helmet sponsor of the Erie Otters, an Ontario Hockey League (OHL) team based in Erie, PA. The brand's logo now features on the team’s home and road helmets, following its debut at the Otters’ season opener on September 27. The partnership also includes the Otters’ ongoing support for Tim Hortons Foundation Camps’ fundraising initiatives and “Camp Day” activations to benefit underserved youth.
In 7th place is Domino’s Pizza, whose new role as the presenting sponsor of TSN’s That’s Hockey (one of Canada’s leading hockey programs) was announced on September 9. The partnership brings Domino’s branding to the show across TSN’s digital and social media platforms—as well as the daily edition of the network’s flagship sports new program, Sportscentre—and begins just in time for the 2024–25 hockey season.
