TwitchCon 2024, which convened in San Diego September 20-22, proved again to be a can’t-miss event for the gaming community––bringing together the world’s most passionate gamers, streamers, and fans for three action-packed days of meetups with top creators, previews of upcoming releases, and brand activations galore.
An esteemed lineup of presenting sponsors––AT&T, Capcom, Chevron, and Samsung among them––capitalized on TwitchCon’s action-packed atmosphere, offering attendees exclusive opportunities to peruse new products and connect with leading streamers:
- AT&T hosted a main-stage experience for fans featuring head-to-head matchups and live episodes with Twitch’s biggest creators.
- Iconic video game creator Capcom unveiled new and updated gameplay and a sneak peek at its latest offerings.
- Chevron helped attendees stay energized with streamer meetups, swag giveaways, and plenty of snacks.
- Samsung hosted interactive mobile gaming activations that demonstrated the cutting-edge technology for which the brand is renowned.
Battlestate Games, Differin, Embark, Herman Miller, Marriott Bonvoy, Merlin, Peloton, Streamlabs, and World of Tanks rounded out the notable roster of TwitchCon sponsors. Consumer Electronics, Leisure & Recreation, and Technology led the list of most active categories.
Meanwhile, esports tournament Twitch Rivals––which ran parallel to TwitchCon––saw the world's top streamers and former pro players square off in intense live showdowns at the Twitch Rivals Arena, presented by State Farm.
Backed by an impressive sponsorship stable that included AT&T, Dunkin’, Honda, Intel, and Myth Walker, the event gave esports enthusiasts an unrivaled chance to watch a true who’s-who of the streaming universe battle it out in person. All the action was live streamed on /TwitchRivals, allowing fans around the world to cheer on their favorite competitors.
